Rev. Bobby Ellisor
Rev. Bobby Ellisor is the son, grandson, and great grandson of Methodist ministers. He was raised in Mobile, AL.
Rev. Ellisor currently serves as the Senior Pastor of First United Methodist Church in Prattville, AL. Prior to coming to Prattville FUMC, Bobby served as Senior Pastor of Gadsden Street United Methodist Church in Pensacola, FL; Trinity United Methodist Church in Fort Walton Beach, FL; Saint Paul United Methodist Church in Gulf Breeze, FL; and First United Methodist Church in Defuniak Springs, FL where he was the recipient of the Denman Evangelism Award.
Rev. Ellisor has served our Annual Conference on both the district and conference level. For many years he served as a member of the Pensacola District Committee on Ministry. Prior to that, Bobby served as Chairperson of the Conference Board of Evangelism.
Bobby graduated from Troy State University where he majored in both Psychology and Sociology. Following his undergraduate work, he attended and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta.
Rev. Ellisor is married to Faith and they have 3 sons- Justin (27), Taylor (24), and Matthew (12). They have one grandson, Colby (2).
