Hunter Taylor
Director of Student Ministries

hunter@prattvillemethodist.org
Hunter was born in Fort Lewis, Washington, but Alabama has been home for the most of his life. After a few years in Huntsville, Hunter and family moved here to Prattville in 2009. He is a graduate of Prattville Christian Academy, and Auburn University at Montgomery with a double major in Environmental Science and Geographic Information Systems. During his time in college, Hunter began to hear the Lord calling him into ministry. Through prayer, mentorship, serving and leadership opportunities, he surrendered to the call, and felt a clear calling to work with students and young adults, helping them grow in their faith and navigate life with Jesus at the center of it all.  In his free time, Hunter enjoys working out, watching football, basketball, and NASCAR, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family!

Faith Patton is the wife of Larry Patton, Senior Pastor.  Born and raised in South Georgia, Faith completed her undergraduate studies at Mercer University with a double major in Psychology and Christianity.  She continued her studies at Emory University's Candler School of Theology, where she received her M.Div.  She also met Larry during this time.  Since the early 90's, Faith has served multiple Methodist Churches as Youth Minister and/or Children's Minister.  She also was the owner/operator of Lighthouse Christian Resource Center in Newnan, Georgia.  She worked as a Community Resource Consultant for the United Methodist Publishing House and after Covid cutbacks eliminated her position, she became a licensed Georgia Real Estate Agent.  She also worked as a recruiter for the University System of Georgia eCampus.  Faith is the mom of Annabel (23), Micah (21) and Ellie (19).  She loves gardening and reading and is an unenthusiastic cook.  For 28 years, she has considered her primary calling to be a partner in ministry to husband, Larry, working alongside him and filling service and ministry roles as needed.  Working with Prattville Students is very lifegiving to her!.
