A Global Methodist Congregation

"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
-1 Corinthians 16:13

At Prattville First Methodist Church we believe in the discipleship of all Christ believers. We offer multiple contextualized ministries for all ages throughout the various seasons of life. We believe in the importance of life groups - where everyone gets connected, grows and serves. We believe every follower of Christ should be engaging beyond their Sunday morning worship. This includes all men.
The Men's Group is a ministry dedicated to men for men. Like everyone, men need to be encouraged. They need to pursue Godly wisdom through with other Godly men. And men need to grasp and fully understand the hope and purpose God has for their life, their family, their church and their communities.
It's time - the moment has arrived - the season is now and Scripture is clear: Men must arise, gather together, be watchful, stand firm in their faith, and be the men God called them to be.
Daniel Patrick
Discipleship and Missions Coordinator
Daniel was born in Newport, Washington and grew up living in Spokane, Salt Lake City, Denver, and Los Angeles. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force as a member of the Security Police Squadron while living in San Antonio, Texas; Anchorage, Alaska; and Merced, Calif. At a young age it seemed as though God was preparing him for life as a missionary. Daniel received his undergraduate education from numerous collegiate institutions, studying Business and Real Estate Management. For nearly sixteen years he worked as a professional California Broker in Executive Management for both regional and national firms. He served on numerous boards, institutions and lobbied in Washington, D.C. on behalf of the real estate industry. In 2012 at the height of his career, while launching his own investment firm, Daniel heard God’s voice to abandon corporate America and the lifestyle to enter the call of full-time ministry. He hasn’t looked back since. He graduated from seminary with a Master of Divinity and has a broad range of ministry experiences but has a heart for discipleship, preaching/teaching, evangelism and missions. He has been married to Myki Patrick for nearly twenty-five years and together they have five children and several grandchildren. Both Daniel and Myki attended the Methodist  church in their youth, served in the Wesleyan church and call their Methodist roots and traditions home. Daniel enjoys music (plays drums and is re-learning piano), riding motorcycles, swimming and spending time with family and friends in fellowship.
