Sunday Mornings

We want children to be able to participate in hands-on worship and life-changing encounters with God. We hope to accomplish this through Sunday School, Children’s Worship, and Serve opportunities.

Children’s Worship:
After the Children’s Moment in the Traditional service, children ages k-6th grade are dismissed to join our team of Children’s Worship Leaders for Children’s Worship. Through hands-on worship, your kids will have amazing encounters with God through awesome music and unforgettable Bible adventures. After worship, parents may pick up their kids in Epworth 206. *The first Sunday of each month, our church celebrates Communion and children remain in the worship service with their parents.

Sunday School (10:00-10:45AM):
- Babies under 2                             Epworth 107
- 2 and 3 year olds                         Epworth 106
- Prek4 and Kindergarten             Epworth 110
- 1st through 3rd Graders            Epworth 111
- 4th through 6th Graders           Epworth 213

Serve opportunities:
  • Traditional Worship Acolytes- All 5th and 6th Graders are encouraged to join the acolyte program. Acolytes assist the Pastor in our traditional services in the Sanctuary. This is a great way for our children to actively participate in service to the church.

Confirmation- 6th Grade
Confirmation is an incredible year beginning in the fall where our students get a chance to make a firm commitment to Christ as their Savior and Lord. Students meet throughout the year to study: the Bible, the basic doctrines of the church and our Methodist history and theology. In addition to weekly classes, the group will participate in service projects, daily Bible reading, enriching field trips, and the annual Confirmation Retreat. Children will be
taken from choir to Epworth 206.
